This book is a simple, easy-to-understand story meant to help children comprehend and process loss and grief in a gentle way.
It is an enhanced version of a story that I originally wrote when I was just 7 years old and was experiencing my own losses. My hope today is that this tale may be a comfort to other children struggling to process the grief of loss, and that adults may be able to better connect with children to help them understand what they're feeling.
